A Kingdom-sized impact.

From mel's blog....I cried.

For class I was assigned to write a list of 25 people that have had impact on my life and a few sentences on why/how they impacted me/got me to where I am today. They could not have ever lived with me.
---
I turned the paper in last week and this is what the professor writes at the top: "I want to meet you in 25 years..." I am still questioning what all he ment by that statement.
---
1. Trey & Tammy Griggs : My second set of parents, and will forever be my bail call if I am in jail, and they seriously got me through high school math and science along with showing me a true Christ centered marriage for one of the first times.
2. Allie Love: The best friend of all time.
3. Jeff & Merin Neville : He's shows me what real leadership looks like and the characteristics of a legit husband/father; She rocks at sewing and is super mom, they are the definition of steadfastness.
4. Julie Lein : A teacher who believed in me as much as my Mom does, and implanted that same belief that I can do anything inside of me.
5. Varsity Pom Girls: (This covers about 55 girls) They are sisters at heart, who know that I seriously have not a bone of hip-hop in me, and a lot of strange corks.
6. Teresa America : I cry thinking about her; she is like a sister, mom, grandma, coach, soda money loaner, friend, listener, everything I ever needed to get me through high school; and always had the best dating/relationship advise and taught me everything I know about Coach Purses.
7. Ashley King : She was the first person to actually walk and hold my hand and LEAD me to Jesus not just tell me about him. She is the most blunt and honest person I have ever met.
8. Meg McManamey : She is going to be a teacher, was a Sig Kappa, has red hair, worked at Hallmark, has been to more schools that I can count, loves Jesus, and has more determination than ANYONE I have ever met- I admire her.
9. Chris & Teresa Conley : I can walk into their house and ask a million questions that NEVER, have answers and they just listen to me freak out and ramble about Red Tree or life; they have a sense of peace that I love.
10. Patrice & Jeff Mugg : They taught me this "When everything is falling apart, all the important things are still there; because you still have your Jesus." Also that life's not fair, and because life's not fair people get hurt, and how we help hurting people defines who we are. I want to raise a family like theirs.
11. Katie Hillis : I don't have the words to describe her servant's heart, love, passion; so I won't try-it's too beautiful.
12. David & Tara Comstock : I could write a book on how much I praise Jesus for this family.
13. Brian Kessler : I would not have graduated high school if he would not have convinced Parkway School District that missing 94 days of school in one year was acceptable in my case.
14. Steven Whitlow : Taught me the basics of packing in 10 minutes, predestination, dating 101, parents have feelings, this list goes on and on; but showed me everything my Dad has taught me about boys was one hundred percent correct, and I believe actions speak louder than words.
15. Phillip Hunter : If it weren't for him and ZOE, I would seriously probably be atheist, pregnant, or in jail- actually a combo of all three. He was the way I also was first connected to Red Tree.
16. Jonathan Strickland : He will be in my wedding, standing by me ready to punch the jerk if he bails, just like he has always been there to punch the jerks in my life; and eat lots of Mexican with me too!!
17. Emily Pownall : Kindergarten day one to graduation- enough said.
18. Kristen Bailey : She is one of those people/friends who is always there for you even when you have failed her the last five million times.
19. Hannah Mugg : She has taught me that life goes on, you are satisfied alone in Christ, and that you are never too young to succeed, even when the whole world is resiting your movement forward..
20. Dr. Lunn: He rocks, and taught me not to let someones opinion stop you from trying and succeeding/saying no to hanging out because you have school work is an ok thing to do in college.- I passed his Old Testament class.
21. The inventor of Icing in a container : They are genius.
22. Mark Driscoll : Funny I put this- but we have a common agreement on sometimes wanting to buy bullets instead of do ministry or love Jesus.
23. Annie Leimann : The "attendance lady" at p.west and I wish she was my grandma.
24. Nic & Aunca : (spelling of the names??) They are from Romania, and are so legit. They plant churches in random villages that usually don't have running water- they just want people to know Jesus and you can tell that from the moment you meet them.
25. Jordyn Voss/Ashley Reese : I am blessed, and forever indebted to you because I call you part of my family. "See less, pray more..."
